The movie star turned politician Arnold Schwarzenegger has reportedly demanded that the celebrity contestants of the reality show “The New Celebrity Apprentice” addresses him as “Governor”. According to the source from the set, he was very much specific about his requirement and made it very clear that he does not wish to be addressed as “Arnold” or “Mr. Schwarzenegger” and most definitely not by the name “Governator” which he dislikes the most.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is replacing President-elect Donald Trump to become the boss of the NBC reality competition which is viewed by millions of people. One of the contestants from the show Matt Iseman, who happens to be the host of “American Ninja Warrior” of NBC has confirmed the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger does hate to be addressed by any other name other than “Governor” while he is in charge of the boardroom of the reality show. According to Iseman, another contestant of the show Jon Lovitz, who is a comedian, was corrected immediately after he addressed the former California Governor as “Arnold” during one of the filming sessions.

Although some may not take it seriously, others like the deputy director of The Protocol School of Washington Robert Hickey raised his eyebrow. In his blog, Hickey wrote that Mr. Schwarzenegger’s attitude can be interpreted as an insult to Jerry brown, the current Governor of the state of California. Hickey wrote it is not customary to address the former Governors as “Governors” since a state can only have one Governor at a given time.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be accompanied by several high profile advisors for the show which includes billionaire Warren Buffet, celebrity and media tycoon Tyra Banks and actress turned entrepreneur Jessica Alba. The contestants are required to perform various business related tasks in the show to win money which is to be donated to charities and any contestant failing to do so will get “fired”.

Some of the contestants include Carson Kressley from “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi from “Jersey Shore”. The first episode of the new season is scheduled to be aired on January 2, 2017.
