A 12-year-old New York boy has allegedly tried to rob a girl, asking her to give one of her chicken nuggets on gun point on Tuesday. According to witnesses, the boy at first confronted the girl, who happens to be his classmate in a McDonald’s outlet at Harlem where he asked for one of her nuggets. As the girl refused and left the spot, the boy followed her to a subway station nearby where he held her on gun point. The girl then pushed the gun away and immediately boarded the train unharmed. The next day she filed a complaint with the police about her classmate.
Later, police took the boy into custody as a juvenile for attempted robbery. However, according to the police, they didn’t find any weapon. So it is unclear whether the boy was using a replica or a real weapon. The boy was released on Thursday and the case has been moved to the family courts. The age of the girl was not confirmed.
