Four American officials (former and current, whose names were not published because of the classified investigation) confirmed that Trump’s acquaintances were in constant contact with the senior intelligence officials from Russia prior to the election. And it was not only limited to campaign officials but Trump’s other associates as well which includes government officials. Intelligence agencies and law enforcement officials figured out that Russia is interrupting in the election by hacking D.N.C. (Democratic National Committee).

Intelligence agencies were trying to figure out the connection between the Trump election campaign and the Russians but there were no such evidence so far. However, at some point it was blurry when Donald Trump praised Russian President Vladimir Putin for abstaining from reprisal in a dispute over spying and cyber attacks and wished Russian intelligence to hack Hilary Clinton’s e-mails and publish them.

In a report published in January by Intelligence agencies, it was proved that Russian government intervened in the US Presidential election but it was not clear, if any Trump associates were involved and if that has any connection with Donald Trump directly.

Both White house and the FBI refused to comment but the press secretary Sean Spicer declined the connection of Russian officials with Trump’s associates. Russian deputy foreign minister Sergei A. Ryabkov acknowledged the connection between Trump’s campaign and his country.

Calls between Russian officials and Donald Trump’s associates were traced by the National Security Agency (NSA) through regular inspection. The FBI was active as well but they were not sure of the call interceptions. FBI is also trying to consider the file from the bureau given by a British intelligence member that enclosed allegations about the Russians contacting with Trump’s associates.
